Kenny Vanella is a prolific song writer and performer with a unique soulful voice. Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, the first American city which Bob Marley called home, Kenny is a disciple of Bob. As a boy, he was struck by the spirit and message of reggae music, the people’s music. Kenny has written thousands of songs, all inspired with that same voice of hope, love, unity, and redemption through higher consciousness. Kenny even spent time working and mentoring students at the famous Alpha Boys Institute in Kingston, along side band director, Sparrow Martin.

His debut solo album, Revival of the Spirit, is currently released worldwide under Higher Fire International and Dubshot Records. The album was recorded at Tuff Gong, in Kingston, and highlights legendary Squidly Cole as producer/drummer. Cole is currently the drummer for Stephen Marley and has toured extensively with the Marley family as drummer for Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. Kenny’s album also features reggae superstars, Andrew Tosh, Peter Tosh’s son, Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, Kumar Bent, Dumpstafunk Trombonist, Alex Wasily, Jamaican Saxophonist, Dean Fraser, as well as, many notable international musicians.
